I’m researching specialist garages for my VW campervan and came across Campervan Coachworks. They appear to focus exclusively on Volkswagen vans, offering services such as engine and clutch work, timing chain and head gasket repairs, electrical loom replacements, suspension fixes, body repairs, paintwork, and pre-MOT inspections.
Before I make a decision, I’d like to know if anyone here has used them. How professional are they in diagnosing issues? Do they provide accurate quotes and stick to deadlines? Most importantly, is the quality of their work worth the cost? Any honest experiences or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I took my VW campervan to Campervan Coachworks for a couple of mechanical and electrical jobs. They were professional with the diagnostics and explained what needed fixing before starting. Quotes were clear and, aside from a small parts delay, they mostly stuck to the timeframe. Work quality was solid and I didn’t have to go back for the same issue.
For the cost, I felt it was fair for the standard of work and communication.
Has anyone else here had a particularly good or bad experience with theirs?
